Does connecting Google Analytics make sense?

Google Analytics has been around since 2005 and is used to analyze website statistics. The results we can review are diverse, which means we can evaluate our website or online store in many different ways.

Such statistics work in almost every case. The tool is essential for research that helps with optimization and marketing activities.

The reports we receive from GA include as many as 80 types of statistics. An additional advantage is integration with AdWords and e-commerce applications.

For online stores, GA is essential because it shows user parameters and their flow across individual subpages. This gives us the ability to detect errors and improve working solutions.

We can also check where traffic to our website comes from — whether it is a redirect from social media or organic traffic, i.e. after typing the address directly into the browser.

Statistics for marketing activities are an excellent source of information, which helps adjust the right tools to optimize advertising and channels for reaching customers.

From a single Google Analytics account, we can use it on an unlimited number of websites, although each one requires a different JavaScript code that we embed in our website's code.

It is worth tracking conversion rates and ROI, because we can then take clearly defined steps to develop the website and better respond to user needs. By proceeding this way, we will contribute to increased traffic and/or sales.
