Which Website Elements Matter?

Websites change every year. What used to be a trend in recent years is slowly evolving. This happens because it’s getting harder to stand out—and even harder to keep customers.

The purpose of a website is to inform users—and often to sell products or services. That means the core element of the page is the offer.

The information it contains should answer what the company does and, as a result, what it offers to its customers.

A section—or a dedicated page—with a specific value proposition for the customer should be clear and include information that matters to the audience. This is usually where most of the content lives, so you need to focus on the message. The offer must be easy to find and transparent.

Let’s get back to the homepage. We know that you can only make a good first impression once—and the key is the first few seconds. If a user visits the website for the first time and lands on the homepage, they need to see something that encourages them to explore. This could be an engaging slider, a photo, or a graphic. It’s also important to place a short description of what the website is about right at the beginning.

Contact forms and the company’s contact details are also essential elements of a website. Users must be able to find this information quickly and easily, because they often want to ask something—and then we can start a phone or email conversation and keep the customer engaged.

There are many other important factors involved in creating websites, and we know both current trends and the requirements of the web.
