Everyone has fast websites—and so do we :) Jokes aside, we’re happy to share that the operation to rebuild our company website from scratch using insanely fast NextJS has been completed successfully.
Our previous website was already a little over 4 years old. It was based on a slow and somewhat outdated CMS written in PHP.
It was time for changes. We chose DatoCMS—a so-called headless CMS. It works without PHP and is very user-friendly. Creating page templates or new blocks is pure pleasure. CMS is one thing—so what’s next?
The modern framework based on React, meaning NextJS, was a perfect fit for this project. Data is fetched using GraphQL. The site is insanely fast, received full SEO support, and most importantly, the goal of building a new website was achieved 100%. It was supposed to be fast. It was supposed to be modern. It was supposed to be pleasing to the eye. Looks like we nailed it?
