Trello
Even the free version has many fans, and it replaces the wall board where we stick colorful notes. Within those “notes,” we can do many things—for example: enter details about a project or person, set a deadline, add a to-do list, and so on. Trello boards can also be shared with others.
Cloud storage
No matter which cloud service you use, its biggest advantage is accessibility. With Google Drive and OneDrive, you can also create the documents or drawings you need. Documents also offer commenting, so working on the same thing becomes simpler regardless of distance.
Slack
This is an in-team messenger. It lets you create topic-based channels as well as private conversations and file sharing. The free version includes 10,000 messages on a single channel; once that limit is exceeded, you can still use Slack fully, but older messages won’t be visible.
Basecamp
The trial version lets you fully explore this comprehensive tool. You can successfully manage projects and tasks here, assigning them to the right people. All information is easy to split into topics, and you can set timelines. After the trial period, you can purchase a subscription depending on how many projects you need to run in the software.
No matter how many tasks you have, always plan for 80% of your working day—only then can you get things done and stay flexible when other, unexpected activities come up.
